Nicci Morris: Redefining Women’s Health Through Innovation

Some of the most meaningful innovations begin with a question that refuses to go away.

For Nicci Morris, that question emerged from years of working within corporate systems and watching how data, people, and institutions shape the way important decisions are made. Over time, one gap became increasingly difficult to ignore: women’s health was still missing the depth of information needed to understand the full picture of women’s lives.

What followed was not simply a decision to enter the wellness space. It was the beginning of a much bigger vision, one built around creating the infrastructure needed to turn women’s health data into meaningful, personalized intelligence.

For years, Nicci Morris worked inside corporate systems, building expertise across communications, culture, leadership, diversity, inclusion, and organizational strategy. Rather than simply pointing out the gap, Morris decided to build a solution.

Today, she is the Founder of Her Hive Collective,, an AI-powered women’s health intelligence platform designed for women 35 and older. Her work brings together technology, behavioral insight, wellness, community, and data to address a problem she believes has remained largely unsolved: creating a more complete picture of women’s health beyond what traditional healthcare systems capture.

Morris’ entrepreneurial journey is rooted in more than an idea. It reflects two decades of experience working within complex corporate systems and understanding how people, communication, culture, and organizational structures operate.

That experience has now shaped the foundation of Her Hive Collective.

The platform is built around the belief that women’s health requires a broader understanding of the individual. Its proprietary B-Quad Intelligence Framework™ considers four dimensions: Biometrics, Biology, Baseline, and Behavior. The goal is to bring together longitudinal, behavioral, and biological information that traditional electronic health records may not capture, then turn that information into personalized intelligence that women can actually use.

It is a significant shift from simply offering wellness advice. Morris is building an infrastructure designed around understanding women through richer, more connected data.

And she is doing so with a clear audience in mind: women aged 35 and above, a group she describes as underserved within healthcare.

One of the most notable aspects of Morris’ journey is that she did not begin with technology alone. She first built trust and community.

Through Her Hive Collective, she has developed a substantial audience of women, creating a distribution network around wellness, lived experience, and women’s health conversations. Her profile states that she has organically grown an audience of more than 250,000 women aged 35 and above, while also reaching more than 150,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram and generating more than four million views each month.

That audience is more than a social media achievement. It demonstrates Morris’ ability to understand the people she wants to serve and create conversations that resonate with them.

Her work through Her Hive Collective includes wellness coaching, digital products, challenges, trackers, wellness guides, curated wellness tools, live events, workshops, and panels. The conversations focus on issues women encounter through perimenopause, career transitions, changing identities, stress, movement, mindset, nourishment, and holistic transformation.

This combination of community and strategy gives her entrepreneurial vision a strong foundation.

Before building Her Hive Collective, Morris spent years leading people, culture, communication, diversity, and inclusion initiatives across major organizations.

At McCauley Communications, where she served as Senior Consultant, People and Culture, she helped shape strategies around company culture, employee engagement, talent, branding, public relations, marketing, and communications. She also orchestrated creative processes for more than 30 industry-leading clients through a lens of inclusion, diversity, and belonging.

Her leadership experience also includes serving as Associate Director of Inclusion and Diversity at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, where she developed and executed enterprise-wide inclusion strategies and worked with executives, HR leaders, and business stakeholders to create initiatives supporting a more inclusive culture and diverse workforce.

At Have Her Back, Morris served as a Senior Advisor, developing talent and culture strategies for Fortune 500 companies and helping leaders navigate organizational change, business development, and program implementation. The organization was also named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2022 for its work creating authentic diversity, equity, and inclusion solutions.

These experiences gave Morris a valuable understanding of how organizations function, how people respond to change, and how strategy must connect with human experience.

Morris’ work at Delta Dental further demonstrates her ability to combine strategy with data.

As Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, she led enterprise-wide efforts using both quantitative and qualitative data. She developed programs designed to strengthen workplace culture and organizational effectiveness, partnered with talent analytics teams to establish practical targets, and created metrics for senior executives to measure progress.

Earlier, as Manager of Internal Communications, she developed communication and employee engagement strategies for a community of 4,000 employees. Her career also includes work in employee experience, workforce development, health and wellness, and organizational communication.

That combination of communication, data, culture, and people-centered strategy is particularly relevant to what she is building today.

Morris is not approaching women’s health solely as a wellness practitioner or solely as a technology founder. Her profile reflects an intersection of organizational strategy, systems thinking, behavioral understanding, wellness, and community building. She holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership and Change and describes herself as a wellness strategist, nutrition coach, and Reiki Level II guide.

Morris’ ability to turn ideas into measurable platforms predates Her Hive Collective.

At Interactive One, where she served as Lead Culture Editor, she developed marketing strategies that grew an audience from its startup phase and expanded digital platforms across social networks, SMS clubs, mobile streaming applications, and newsletters. She also used national programming opportunities and specialized strategies to increase traffic.

At Jawa, she served as Chief Editor, leading a diverse team of writers, designers, and freelance contributors while establishing editorial standards across more than 40 verticals and brands. The content operation was credited in her profile with a significant increase in related site traffic.

Her earlier career at Enquirer Media also saw her lead a team of reporters and freelance writers, manage editorial operations, and identify marketing and advertising opportunities representing more than $1 million in new revenue.

These milestones reveal a consistent pattern: Morris has repeatedly worked at the intersection of people, content, systems, strategy, and growth. Her Hive Collective represents the most ambitious expression of that experience yet.

Morris describes the women’s health intelligence infrastructure she is building as something that does not yet exist in the form she envisions. The company is currently pre-seed and pursuing a defined 18-month proof point and exit thesis, with the founder positioning the venture around the value of richer women’s health data and the community already built around it.

What makes the journey particularly compelling is the progression behind the idea.

She spent years understanding organizations. She developed expertise in communication and culture. She built audiences. She worked with data and leadership. She developed a wellness-focused community. And eventually, she brought those experiences together to address a problem she saw personally through years of professional experience.

That is the kind of entrepreneurial journey that demonstrates how seemingly separate chapters of a career can eventually converge into one powerful mission.

Nicci Morris is now moving from advising systems to building one.Her vision for Her Hive Collective goes beyond creating another wellness brand. It is an attempt to connect women’s lived experiences, behavior, biology, biometrics, and baseline data into a more useful form of intelligence while creating a trusted community around it.

Her journey is a reminder that innovation does not always begin with a technology breakthrough. Sometimes it begins with recognizing a problem that existing systems have overlooked, understanding the people affected by it, and having the experience and conviction to build something different.

From corporate leadership and culture strategy to audience building and women’s health entrepreneurship, Morris has continued to turn expertise into action.

And with Her Hive Collective, she is taking that journey into a new frontier, one where data, technology, wellness, and the lived experiences of women come together to create a more intelligent approach to women’s health.
